Current estimations suggest that around 80% of runners are injured every year. Incorrect technique play a huge part in that! CrossFit Endurance is a technique based approach to Running that prioritizes the development of skill, over traditional volume based methods.
This six week progression will involve an overview of the Pose Method in week 1, and then we will break down each section of the run in weeks 2, 3, and 4. After each explanation there will be drills to help embed the movement and at the end of week 1 we will film your run to make your progression easier. Each week there will also be a homework for you to complete in your own time. The aim will be to improve your mobility/mechanics, and further reinforce the correct movement patterns – ensuring that efficient running technique becomes second nature to you.

Nathan is a certified Crossfit Endurance, and Strength and Conditioning coach. Nathan has been running since he was 10 and racing triathlons for almost as long. After finding Crossfit and Crossfit Endurance in 2010, Nathan completely overhauled his endurance training and replaced all long, slow mileage with quality skills and drills with a focus on technique and mobility. Over the last 12 months he has worked with sprinters, long distance runners, footy players, soccer goalies and everyone in between.
